EPWP Receptionist – Stipend R424, 36 Per Day

EPWP Receptionist/Admin Assistant, Head Office (Contract until 31 March 2027) (R424, 36 per day)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing exceptional service to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Customer Service
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Provide and promote an efficient and friendly customer service.
- Welcoming on-site guests, determine nature of business, and announce guest to appropriate personnel.
- Assisting with walk in clients
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
Admin and Clerical Support
- Keep the office safe by following rules and managing who comes in through the front desk (watching the sign-in book, giving out visitor passes).
- Take care of the main office meeting rooms and booking them.
- Keep calendars up-to-date and set up meetings when needed.
- Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
- Book trips and places to stay when necessary.
- Help with keeping records and files when asked.
- Help manage office items like equipment and supplies.
- Help with buying things and answering questions.
Switchboard / Telephone duties
- Managing the main switchboard, answering, and transferring of telephone calls
- Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
Needs Required:
- Must have finished Grade 12.
- Must not have a criminal history.
- Must be able to write and speak in any two of the official languages used in the Western Cape.
- Must have at least one year of experience working as a Receptionist, in a Front Office, or in Customer Service.
