NURSING ASSISTANT GRADE 1 To 3 (X3 POSTS)

SALARY :
Grade 1: R174 261 per annum
Grade 2: R203 271 per annum
Grade 3: R239 559 per annum
CENTRE: Mitchells Plain District Hospital
NEEDED:
- Must have the smallest amount of education needed to sign up with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
Experience:
Grade 1: None.
Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC.
Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts, day and night duty, weekends and public holidays to meet the operational requirements.
Ability to work under pressure and in a multi-disciplinary team context.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Provision of Quality Nursing Care to health care users. Appropriate experience in a Health environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Give simple nursing care to patients. Offer basic clinical nursing support.
- Help patients with everyday tasks like personal cleanliness, eating well, moving around, and using the toilet.
- Keep learning, follow moral rules, and work on improving oneself.
- Keep records.
- Help the supervisor and other workers by being a team player.
- Be professional when doing your job.
