FOOD SERVICE AID
Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services
SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Stikland Hospital
WHAT IS NEEDED:
Education: Must be able to count and read/write at a basic level.
Experience: Must have worked in a big food service place like a factory.
Job Needs: Must be able to work extra hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed. Must be strong enough to lift heavy things and stand for a long time.
Skills: Must know how to make regular and special meals in a large food service setting. Must know about cleanliness, workplace safety, and food safety rules. Must be able to read, speak, and write.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Help get and store food and supplies.
- Prepare regular and special meals.
- Measure, serve, and give out food to different areas.
- Clean all areas, tools, and machines in the food service area.
- Follow health, safety, and standard rules.
