FOOD SERVICES AID
Central Karoo District
SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Prince Albert Hospital
REQUIREMENTS :
- Education needed: Able to read, write, and do basic math.
- Experience: Must have worked making meals for patients in a hospital before.
Job Requirements:
- Must be strong enough to lift heavy things and stand all day. Must be able to work different shifts, including weekends, extra hours, and holidays.
Skills:
- Must be able to communicate well.
- Must be responsible, have a good attitude and want to learn new things and be trained.
- Must be able to read and follow recipes to make meals and use a digital kitchen scale.
- Must know how to clean and take care of the kitchen equipment.
DUTIES :
- Providing food, which includes getting ingredients ready and making regular and specific meals, plus serving and giving out food.
- Helping to get and put away fresh and other food items.
- Making sure everything is clean and safe, following health and safety rules, including preventing infections.
- Helping to keep machines and tools in good working order. Helping to train new workers in the unit.
