QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- A Grade 12 education.
- A basic traffic training certificate (NQF level 5).
- A Code EB driver’s license.
- A clean criminal background.
- Skills in using firearms.
- 2 to 5 years of related job experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Watch how traffic flows and the state of the roads.
- Regularly travel through assigned areas, observing traffic and finding cars parked where they shouldn’t be.
- Make sure traffic laws are followed.
- Tell supervisors about problems and illegal activities that can’t be immediately addressed.
- Promote public safety through campaigns and teaching people about traffic rules.
- Stop people from breaking traffic laws.

- Needs to help create a local government that looks like the people it represents.
- Needs to think about and manage risks when deciding things.
- Needs to handle complaints by listening and offering other options.
- Needs to solve disagreements and stay calm when facing anger or rudeness.
- Needs to answer calls quickly and do a good job.
- Needs to act professionally when talking to the public and those involved.
SALARY : R307 066.00 per Annum
