To guarantee the successful and timely achievement of all pre-defined operational targets related to tailings deposition, in strict adherence to the specifications outlined in the contractual agreements, and ensuring the work is performed to a high standard of quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help your boss and team reach the set work goals.
- Check your assigned work area daily.
- Plan and control the movement of waste materials on the work site and where they are stored.
- Help find solutions to work problems and tell your boss about any issues.
- Follow the company’s rules.
- Obey all safety rules and laws, as well as company guidelines.
- Install and join together pipes.
- Open and shut valves based on how things should be done.
- Be accountable for how well you do your job.
- Keep your work area clean and organized.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12.
EXPERIENCE
- 0- 2 years of relevant experience in tailings.
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Good communication (verbal and written).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to understand the relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Medically fit to work in the mining environment.
- Must be able undergo and pass the mine’s criminal screening process.
- May be required to work overtime from time to time.
