About the Programme

Admission Requirements
For South African Citizens:
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) with eligibility for diploma-level study
- Admission Point Score (APS) of 24 or higher
- English at NSC Level 4 (50–59%) or above
- Life Sciences at NSC Level 4 (50–59%) or above
- Mathematical Literacy at NSC Level 4 (50–59%) or Mathematics at NSC Level 3 (40–49%) or above
- Recommendation: Completion of a computer literacy course
For Foreign Nationals:
- SAQA equivalency certificate
- National Vocational Certificate: Primary Healthcare NQF Level 4
- APS of 24 or higher
Alternative Entry – Recognition of Prior Learning:
- National Senior Certificate
- SANC Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary or Enrolled Nursing Qualification
- Current SANC Annual Practice Licence
- Recognition of Prior Learning is capped at 10% of the annual intake
