To prepare and split pallets as instructed while maintaining our governance and customer standards. To ensure the correct product is picked, packed and finish goods are placed in the allocated areas. Practicing FIFO at all times and pick stock accordingly.
Job description
- Pack and divide pallets following the usual way.
- Check that pallets and boards used for packing are not broken or damaged.
- Always use the oldest stock first.
- Write dates on the picking slips and sign them.
- Be careful with all stock so it doesn’t get damaged.
- Pick all orders for loading, choosing items as shown on the pick slips. Follow company rules about how long products can be on the shelf, stock order, and quality.
- Make sure products are packed safely for shipping to prevent damage.
- Check pallets and boards that come in to be sure production gets good quality ones.
- Always follow health and safety rules.
- Always wear your safety gear.
- Always keep your work area clean and organized.
