SAICA TRAINEE / ARTICLED CLERK (SUNNINGHILL)

Our client is a highly professional, close-knit auditing firm looking to bring on-board exceptional Accounting Graduates that are motivated to grow.

Fantastic opportunity for aspiring CA (SA) candidates, looking to start studying towards their 3-year or 5-year Articles in 2023 or 2024

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Completed (or due to complete in 2022) Saica accredited BCom or
  • BCompt Degree in Accounting Science.
  • Registered to study towards CTA Level 1 / 2
  • Driver’s License
  • Own vehicle (preferable, but can be discussed further)
  • Be able to work under pressure and be deadline driven
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Computer literate including Outlook, Word and Excel

Duties & Responsibilities

The Trainee Accountant will report to the Audit Supervisor, and duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Producing accurate and timely client reports.
  • Performing and reporting on Audit tasks in a timely manner.
  • Obtaining reliable and sufficient evidence for all audit procedures.
  • Completing regular rating assessments, as outlined by SAICA
  • Compilation of Financial Statements

This role will align with SAICA’s training policies, candidates must be focused and determined on becoming a Chartered Accountant. Balancing work and studies is a must as it is required by SAICA to progress in both.
