Our Talent Team is looking for a Security Shift Supervisor the role will be based in Randfontein.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the security and safety of site, including the management of security personnel. Responsible for incoming/outgoing trucks/product, including checking product, weight and correct invoicing
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise Security Officers (Piquant)
- Ensure correct number of guards on site
- Regular plant security inspections and audits
- Ensure regular site patrol is done and accompany security officers on the patrols
- Follow up on all irregularities reported by security officers
- Ensure immediate and corrective action is taken
- Ensure continuous and authorized access of incoming and outgoing vehicles
- Assist security officers in identifying irregularities on trucks and take corrective action
- Ensure all documents are submitted when raw materials are off loaded and issue exit permits as POD’s
- Ensure continuous identification of all drivers
- Liaise with weighbridge wrt to underweight/overweight of truck prior to them exiting the premises.
- Contractor management and verification of compliance
- Coordination of evacuation activities
- Correct and timeous invoicing of both Grocery/Raw material trucks / loads
- Responsible First Aid representative on site
- Complete IOD forms and transport patients to hospital if needed
- Identify and report safety hazards and conduct safety inspections
- Ensure Artisans are called out for breakdowns
- Provide support for front desk security clerk and weighbridge responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Qualification: Security Officer Grade
Minimum 2 years Security Supervisor experience
Min of 2 years’ experience in dealing with customers/visitors
Working knowledge of MS Office
