Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an experienced Fixed Term Cleaner for their Hemmingways store. You will be responsible to maintain a clean and neat store, by Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards. The areas will include the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office and canteen.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience
- Sound command of the English language
- Basic customer service
- Additional language that is area specific
- Willing and able to work retail hours
Advantageous:
- Bilingual
- Previous retail store cleaning experience
Job Specification
- Keep the entire store, sales floor, and shared spaces very clean every day before the store opens.
- Create regular cleaning plans to keep all store areas very clean.
- Make sure the break room and restrooms are always clean and have enough supplies.
- Be ready to clean up messes whenever they happen during store hours.
- Use the right cleaning supplies and tools for each cleaning task.
- Put up a wet floor sign that people can easily see when you are washing the floor.
- Be nice, helpful, and able to help customers.
- Do your job following all safety rules.
