City of Ekurhuleni – Security Guard: Guarding Services
To qualify, you need:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A basic security training certificate (PSIRA).
- A clean criminal background with no illegal activities.
- Registration as a Security Officer with PSIRA, at least Grade C.
- Having Grade A is a plus.
- One year of security work experience.
Main Duties:
- Protect buildings, valuables, and people to keep everything safe.
- Control who enters to show a clear security presence.
- Handle paperwork to keep things running smoothly.
- Report and help during crises and keep order.
- Watch CCTV cameras to stop crime and keep the property safe.
