Minimum Requirements
- You need to be a citizen of South Africa.
- You should be between 18 and 34 years old.
- You must have a Grade 12 (matric) certificate or a similar qualification, or have completed a certificate/program after finishing matric.

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a program led by both the government and private businesses, started by the President, to help solve the problem of young people not having jobs in our nation. Eskom is making jobs for young, jobless South Africans, following the rules of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment. We want young South Africans who really want to work to take this chance for a great first job in the energy field.
If you qualify, take this chance to get useful job skills. If chosen, you will get a 12-month work agreement to work at an Eskom site in any province of South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
- Must not have worked for one company full-time for more than a year in a row.
- Must not be a full-time student during the year they are employed.
- Must not have been involved in the YES program before.
- People who apply will be reviewed, and if they pass, they will work in Eskom Operations in different departments.
